Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in Broadstairs looking for a driven Marketing & Sales Assistant to help strengthen our customer outreach. This role is perfect for someone who wants a friendly workplace, steady hours, and the chance to grow into a permanent position.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working closely with the Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving our customer engagement:
- Making confident cold calls and sales calls to customers and prospects
- Sending email and postal campaigns using Excel, Word & Outlook
- Updating and maintaining accurate customer/prospect data
- Reporting weekly activity results to the Sales Manager
- Qualifying information including international postal addresses & phone details
- Supporting general sales tasks within a busy, hands-on manufacturing environment
Full product and service training will be provided!
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in cold calling or sales calling (essential)
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Good MS Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- High attention to detail and organised working style
- Confidence speaking with customers at all levels
- Understanding of manufacturing sales processes (advantageous but not essential)
