Part-Time Sales & Marketing Assistant Join a Growing Local Manufacturer in Broadstairs!

Hours: 16 per week (Mon-Thu, 10am-2pm) - flexible

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in Broadstairs looking for a driven Marketing & Sales Assistant to help strengthen our customer outreach. This role is perfect for someone who wants a friendly workplace, steady hours, and the chance to grow into a permanent position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working closely with the Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving our customer engagement:
  • Making confident cold calls and sales calls to customers and prospects
  • Sending email and postal campaigns using Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Updating and maintaining accurate customer/prospect data
  • Reporting weekly activity results to the Sales Manager
  • Qualifying information including international postal addresses & phone details
  • Supporting general sales tasks within a busy, hands-on manufacturing environment

Full product and service training will be provided!

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in cold calling or sales calling (essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Good MS Excel skills (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
  • High attention to detail and organised working style
  • Confidence speaking with customers at all levels
  • Understanding of manufacturing sales processes (advantageous but not essential)
