Job Title: Yard Operative Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch) Temporary to permanent HRGO Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist equipment rental company for a Yard Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role within a busy depot, supporting the preparation, maintenance, inspection and servicing of specialist hire equipment and depot assets. Paint hire equipment and depot assets using airless sprayers, brushes and rollers Load, unload, move and store equipment safely Operate forklift trucks - full training provided Use pneumatic and electrical hand tools - full training provided Maintain accurate inspection and service records Maintain accurate stock levels and depot standards Keep the depot clean, organised and safe Previous experience in a depot, engineering, maintenance, painting or similar hands-on environment is desirable Comfortable using scanners, PDAs, tablets and computers Flexible, reliable and trustworthy with excellent timekeeping
