We are looking for a Bookkeeper on behalf of our Ashford based client. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in completing VAT returns and have a comprehensive understanding of leading accounting software, including Xero and Quickbooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and precise completion of VAT returns for various clients.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date financial records utilising accounting software such as Xero and Quickbooks.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts with supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and ensure best practices.
- Provide insightful financial reports and analysis as required.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years\’ experience in completing VAT returns.
- Proficient knowledge and experience with accounting software, particularly Xero, Quickbooks, and similar platforms.
