HRGO Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established, family-run business that operates within the UK’s number one fair trading company. We are currently seeking General Operatives to join their Blending team in a hands-on, fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and blending teas and infusions in line with the daily production plan
- Receiving raw materials and storing them correctly, ensuring segregation (e.g. organic, Fairtrade) is maintained
- Weighing and milling ingredients accurately
- Building blends according to BOM (Bill of Materials) specifications
- Operating and using lifting equipment such as pallet trucks, pedestrian stackers, FLT, and bag lifters
- Filling bulk bags, collecting samples, and completing production paperwork
- Cleaning and maintaining blending equipment as required
- Ensuring proper segregation of organic products throughout the process
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the blending and warehouse areas
- Following HACCP procedures and food safety standards at all times
