Due to continued growth, we are seeking skilled
Sprinkler Service Engineers to join their expanding Commercial Buildings Division.
The Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, testing, maintenance and repair of fire sprinkler systems across a varied client portfolio including commercial buildings, retail sites, hotels and residential developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections, water supply testing, alarm testing, valve checks and sprinkler head inspections.
- Service fire pumps, pipework and valve sets.
- Clean and maintain sprinkler systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform dry and wet riser testing.
- Troubleshoot faults and undertake repairs and replacements as required.
- Carry out annual inspections and weekly testing procedures.
- Produce detailed service reports, documenting faults and recommending remedial actions.
- Participate in a rotating out-of-hours call-out schedule.
- Undertake occasional night work when required.
- Ensure all work complies with current fire safety and industry regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Sprinkler Service Engineer.
LPCB, FHC or equivalent sprinkler qualifications (essential).
- Proven experience working on commercial and residential sprinkler systems. Strong knowledge of sprinkler maintenance, testing and fault finding.
- Excellent understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and call-out duties.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
