Due to expansion we have an exciting role as Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our growing team in Basildon. Our depot covers all makes along with vans, and trucks to trailers. Our Bodyshop centre handles full repair to minor scratches to major accident repairs. Working alongside our current service team and technicians. This is a permanent role due to location; a driver is preferred as there is no public transport.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hour days, 40 hours per week. Salary from £35,000 upwards.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
- Proven previous experience in a similar role/field - Automotive/Technician/Mechanic.
- Part of a large technician team.
- Communication with the service reception team and workshop control.
- Speaking with customers on occasion to provide expert technical opinion.
- Maintaining thorough and up to date product knowledge.
- Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals using EVHC.
- Able to demonstrate mechanic skills working on mixed German branded vehicles.
- Manufacture training in German models vehicles or prestige vehicles.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Full clean driving license.
