Part 145 aviation maintenance Planning Engineer / Technical Services Engineer (Shift Pattern: 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday)- In this role, you will support the production and management of aircraft maintenance and modification projects for this corporate and private Jet MRO organisation . You will be responsible for creating accurate maintenance work packages and managing complex projects in line with company processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects, ensuring the critical path is maintained.
- Professionally communicate with customers to plan maintenance inputs, ensuring work scopes are clear and translatable into work packages.
- Develop work packages that meet customer requirements, ensuring all necessary resources (access, spares, tooling, manpower, and third-party services) are identified and available before the aircraft\’s scheduled downtime.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to arrange services, ensuring their schedules align with project timelines.
- Collaborate with Part-21 Design Organisations to support customer requests for aircraft modifications, ensuring compliance with EASA/Foreign NAA requirements.
- Lead internal pre-input review meetings with Commercial, Engineering, and Logistics departments to meet company milestones.
- Conduct pre-input review meetings with customers to discuss defects and specific requirements.
- Manage the acceptance of aircraft into maintenance.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact the project schedule.
- Provide daily updates to customers on project progress during maintenance.
- Review and complete aircraft documentation (e.g., Technical Log, Deferral Log) during and after maintenance.
- Assist Document Control with reviewing and rectifying completed paperwork.
- Generate necessary documentation and support certifying staff during the return to service stage.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, operations or CAMO.
- Proficient in using PC applications (Excel, Word, MS Project).
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Experience with Wings ERP or similar systems.
- Flexible with working hours.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
