Trainee Sales Executive
Location: Near Ashford, Kent (Own transport is essential)
Salary: £28,000 per annum (OTE £38,000)
Job Type: Full time/permanent (Office based)
Are you an energetic communicator who wants to start and grow a career in sales? We are looking for a motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join a dynamic sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills who is eager to learn, develop, and progress within a supportive, fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with senior decision makers and turn opportunities into profitable sales.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new customers across the UK and Europe
- Building relationships with venue managers, operations directors, procurement teams and event professionals
- Conducting customer visits and site surveys
- Demonstrating products and developing tailored solutions
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Developing a strong sales pipeline and achieving agreed sales and margin targets
- Attending trade shows, industry events and networking opportunities
- Providing market intelligence and identifying new opportunities.
What we're looking for
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A genuine desire to learn and develop a long term career in sales
- Positive, resilient attitude with a willingness to take feedback and improve
- Confident telephone manner and basic IT skills (email, CRM, spreadsheets)
- Team player who is also able to work independently and manage priorities
