We are assisting our client in their search for a Stores Operative to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-established business. The role requires proven experience operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks safely and efficiently and performing general stores duties to support production and distribution.
Duties include:
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries of finished goods and raw materials
- Picking, packing, and moving stock within the warehouse and stores areas
- Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records
- Ensuring products are stored correctly to prevent damage
- Keeping the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Skills/Experience required:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance and Reach licences (essential)
- Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
