I am looking for an experienced Maintenance Gardener to join an established team, assisting in the continued maintenance of green spaces in and around Ashford, Kent. Candidates should be motivated and be comfortable with physically demanding work.
Responsibilities:
- Travelling between sites, maintaining beds and green spaces throughout the town, ensuring work is completed in line with company standards.
- General maintenance gardening duties such as strimming, mowing and edging lawns.
- Planting, weeding and tidying beds, borders and displays.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am til 4:00pm. This role offers the potential for future development for the right person, subject to a successful introductory period.
Qualifications:
- A full driving license is essential due to the mobile nature of the role.
- Prior knowledge and experience in a similar position.
- The ability to work well within a team, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help where necessary.
- Physical capabilities to be working on your feet and carrying heavy equipment.
- High working standards and an awareness of health and safety practices.
