Job Description Job Title: Stores Person Job Type: Full time/permanent Salary : Β£29,400 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Location : Nr Ashford, Kent (Own transport is essential due to location of the client) We are looking for a Stores Person to join our clients busy production team. This is a hands on role focused on the efficient handling, storage and delivery of goods to customers. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate goods in/goods out processes and delivering products safely using a company van. Key responsibilities Receive, check and record incoming deliveries (goods in), ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch and perform goods out checks Load and deliver products to customers using a company van, representing the business professionally Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts Keep the stores area clean, organised and safe; follow health & safety and manual handling procedures Assist with basic vehicle checks and report any issues with the van Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, obtaining signatures and completing delivery paperwork or electronic records Requirements Proven experience in stores/warehouse or similar role with goods in/goods out responsibilities Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record; confidence delivering to customers using a company van Good attention to detail and numeracy for checking and recording stock Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team Basic IT skills for updating stock records and delivery documentation Strong customer service skills and a professional manner when visiting customer sites
