Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role focuses on achieving targets through retention and growth of your client base, with building strong relationships being key.

The role:

  • Manage and grow an existing business customer base, including telephone targets.
  • Canvass and close new business opportunities.
  • Proactively retain clients at risk of cancelling.
  • Mentor new employees when required.
  • Participate actively in training sessions.
  • Keep CRM systems updated with client contact information.
  • Maintain regular contact with key decision-makers within your client base.
  • Handle queries promptly and professionally.
  • Occasional visits to clients and trade shows.
  • Maintain industry knowledge to stay ahead of trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

The person:

  • Proven sales record with the ability to meet team and individual targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a phone-based sales or account management role.

The salary will depend on experience. The client is willing to provide training; the key requirements are drive and sales experience.
