We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Panel Wiring & Testing Technician to join this established, leading engineering solutions provider in the advanced manufacturing and process engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wiring of skid mounted equipment including valves, pumps, heaters and instrumentation.
- Fitting of skid mounted pneumatic equipment.
- Terminating cabling and pneumatics in control panels.
- Manufacturing of control panels, drilling and fitting control equipment to technical drawings.
- Wiring control panels to technical drawings.
- Setting up systems for testing using technical drawings.
- Testing and commissioning of control systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
- Practical electrical wiring experience of controls, panel and machine wiring.
- Ability to proficiently read and interpret electrical technical drawings and blueprints.
- Workshop technical skills (i.e., familiar with power tools, hand tools).
- Test, Fault Find and correct electrical faults on Panels and Skids.
- Confident handling a wide range of hand tools with precision and care.
- Full Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- Electrical Qualifications.
- Experience PLC Hardware and HMI set ups.
- Experience in commissioning electrical panels and skids ready for client testing hand over.
- Understanding of basic to advanced fault finding.
- Demonstrate sound electrical knowledge with a proven track record in the field.
- Show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
