Electrical Design Engineer

We are recruiting for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a well-established and dynamic company. Electrical Design Engineer Location: Wincanton Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5.30 (37 hours per week) The Role: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will: Prepare technical drawings, including wiring schematics, using AutoCAD. Generate accurate quotations for stock and bespoke items. Configure and test equipment prior to dispatch. Maintain and update the design and test database with precision. Provide technical support to colleagues and external customers. Review, update and approve production drawings. Be involved in new product design (NPD) and CAD library management. Resolve technical issues, including on-site problem-solving as needed. Competitive Salary: £35,000 – £45,000, based on experience. Comprehensive Benefits Package: Generous pension contributions.
