Powder Coater - permanent job opportunity for an experienced powder coater in this busy sheet metal facility, the role involves masking, spraying, and curing preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Keep the work area and equipment clean and organised.
- Meet high standards and deadlines.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Mix and apply powder coating materials to achieve the desired finish.
- Use spray guns or other equipment to apply powder coating evenly.
- Monitor oven temperatures and bake products to cure the finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality powder coating finishes.
- Experience with wet paint spraying.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic about producing high-quality work.
This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependant on experience. You must have current UK right to work to be considered.
