We're looking for experienced and enthusiastic Head of Pastry
Do you love the smell of freshly baked pastry, have an eye for detail and enjoy creating something delicious from scratch?
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Pastry to join our clients growing bakery team in Folkestone.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take the lead on our clients pastry production, from laminating and shaping to baking, filling and finishing. You'll also have the opportunity to develop new ideas and products as we build our pastry range.
What you'll be getting stuck into
- Leading our day-to-day pastry production
- Mixing, folding and laminating doughs
- Creating delicious pastry fillings
- Shaping, baking and finishing pastries
- Developing and testing new products
- Maintaining exceptional quality and consistency
- Ordering ingredients and managing stock
- Training and supporting the pastry team
- Keeping the section clean, organised and running efficiently
Bringing fresh ideas to help us grow our pastry offering
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced pastry baker who takes real pride in what you make.
You'll be creative, organised and confident working independently, while also enjoying being part of a busy bakery team. Most importantly, you'll care about making really good pastry and want to help us keep improving.
