HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in Doncaster for Machine Operatives to join their production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience, although full comprehensive training will be provided. The role offers a structured 12-hour shift pattern, long-term opportunities and the chance to develop your skills within an established manufacturing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently
  • Set up machine parameters according to production requirements
  • Load and unload drums onto the pay-off stand
  • Load reels into the winding machine
  • Operate machinery to wind cable onto reels to specified lengths
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Complete timesheets and job cards accurately
  • Record production quantities and inspection results
  • Follow production instructions and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
  • Ensure pallet stacks, aisles and loading areas are kept safe and tidy
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently

Shifts Available:

4 On 3 Off / 3 On 4 Off

Day Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm

Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Rotating days and nights

About You:

  • Previous Machine Operative or manufacturing experience is highly advantageous
  • Basic Maths and English skills
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
  • Confident working independently and using your own initiative
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willing to learn and complete full training
  • Able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
  • Ideally able to drive due to the shift times and location
