Shift Pattern
The Customer Care Team operates during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Handling inbound and outbound calls, voicemails and online enquiries
- Listening to customers with empathy and understanding their individual needs
- Providing reassurance and guidance throughout the enquiry process
- Booking care home show rounds and appointments
- Managing enquiries from first contact through to admissionScheduling follow-up calls and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with care home teams to coordinate appointments and assessments
- Handling calls from relatives, suppliers and job applicants professionally
- Delivering an outstanding customer experience at every stage
Requirements
- Have excellent communication and listening skills
- Are compassionate, patient and empathetic
- Have previous customer service experience (call centre, retail, hospitality, healthcare or similar)
- Can remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
- Are confident using computer systems and updating customer records
- Take ownership of their workload and follow tasks through to completion
- Are flexible to work weekends on a rota basis

You enjoy helping people and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. You are organised, resilient and able to build trust quickly over the phone. Whether your experience comes from customer service, healthcare, hospitality or another people-focused environment, you'll have a genuine desire to support others during important moments in their lives.
