Warehouse Operator (Light and Heavy Lifting) MUST DRIVE
Location: Ashford
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern: 9:30-18-00
Job Overview:
Our clients are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for Production Operator roles in their warehouse. This position encompasses light lifting and heavy lifting responsibilities, where operators will play a crucial role in our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Light Lifter Role:
- Operate on the production line in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Handle light packaging tasks, including moving lighter products with precision and care.
- Maintain quality control standards by inspecting products as they move through the production line.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Heavy Lifter Role:
- Perform manual lifting and moving of heavier products within the warehouse.
- Responsibilities include shovelling rubbish and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
- Move and pack heavy bottles and other materials as required.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while performing manual work.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in production or warehouse environments, particularly in fast-paced settings.
- Strong physical fitness for heavy lifting roles; must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Ability to complete both shift patterns (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo training provided by the employer.
