Trainee Injection Moulding Technician in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate plastic injection moulding machinery (including vertical insert and conventional moulders from 10t90t)
• Ensure tools are set safely and machines are profiled to meet tight product specifications
• Inspect components to ensure they meet quality standards, working closely with quality control teams
• Monitor production lines to maintain efficiency, minimise waste, and achieve cycle times
• Perform general maintenance on tooling
• Provide on-the-job training to Operators when required
• Support development trials and tooling validations
• Follow all health and safety procedures and complete daily machinery safety checks

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Physically fit with a high standard of hygiene
