This role is ideal for someone organised, detail-focused and proactive, who enjoys working across departments and contributing to high operational standards. You will assist with audits, investigations, documentation and technical reporting in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a confident communicator with strong attention to detail and excellent Microsoft Office skills.

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality control programmes and ensure compliance with food safety and site standards
  • Assist with audits, traceability exercises and accreditation requirements
  • Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs, complaints and technical data
  • Work closely with production, laboratory teams and external partners
  • Support inductions, documentation control and continuous improvement initiatives

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing or a similar environment
  • Understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRCGS)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and analytical ability
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams
  • A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
