Hunt4 is recruiting for an experienced candidate to join clients based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Location: Stonehouse
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (review after 12 weeks or in April in line with minimum wage changes)
Contract: 12-week Temp to Perm
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 07:30-16:15
- Friday: 07:30-12:15
Breaks: 15-minute lunch + two 10-minute breaks (around 10:00 and 15:00)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Cable Assemblers to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves assembling a variety of cable products using both hand tools and machinery. You will be working from written instructions and customer drawings, ensuring each build meets the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble cables, looms, and harnesses to customer specifications
- Carry out hand and machine crimping
- Follow written work instructions and customer drawings accurately
- Perform basic inspection and quality checks
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous cable assembly experience is beneficial but not essential
- Soldering skills are an advantage but not required
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
