About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate day-to-day business operations across assembly, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, and customer order fulfilment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high service standards, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across assembly, warehouse, logistics, and dispatch functions
- Coordinate inventory control, purchasing activities, and supply chain processes
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Lead, support, and motivate operational teams to maintain productivity and efficiency
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and operational compliance
- Work closely with sales, purchasing, customer service, and senior leadership teams
- Support workflow planning and resource allocation to meet business demands
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience within warehouse, logistics, assembly, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple operational priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or stock management systems would be advantageous
