We are looking for a high-calibre Metrology Technician who can take full ownership of measurement processes and help us maintain the exceptional standards our products are known for.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Measurement Management • Oversee all measurement requirements across operations • Support moulding validations, in-process inspections and non-conformance investigations
- CMM Programming & Analysis • Program and operate Zeiss CMM systems using Calypso • Request appropriate fixturing and execute full measurement system analysis (MSA)
- Verification & Qualification • Collaborate with Verification Services to support smooth transition from operational qualification to production qualification
- Precision Measurement & Inspection • Perform accurate component measurements using advanced metrology tools • Verify products meet quality, customer and regulatory standards
- Data-Driven Quality • Analyse measurement results to spot trends, inconsistencies or improvement opportunities • Maintain clean, detailed, audit-ready documentation
- Compliance & Problem Solving • Ensure processes meet industry and internal standards • Identify and resolve measurement-related discrepancies quickly and effectively
- Team Collaboration & Training • Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams • Provide training and guidance on metrology best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience programming Zeiss CMM systems using Calypso
- Previous hands-on metrology experience (manufacturing, precision engineering, quality, etc.)
- Ability to interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident working with measurement data, documentation and digital tools
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisation
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive mindset focused on quality, improvement and collaboration
- Relevant metrology/quality certifications are an advantage
