Join a leading UK engineering group delivering large-scale water and mechanical systems projects. We are looking for a proactive Project Buyer to manage procurement for complex, high-value projects and keep materials flowing on time and on budget.
What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end procurement for project components and materials
- Issue accurate purchase orders and track delivery performance (OTIF)
- Run RFQs/RFPs, compare bids, and support supplier negotiations
- Build strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues
- Ensure contracts, budgets, and compliance requirements are met
- Maintain procurement documentation and keep ERP systems updated
- Work closely with engineering, project management, quality, and logistics teams
