We are recruiting for an exciting position within our Midlands based client. The role of Production Manager is responsible for running all day-to-day factory operations, ensuring all production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met. Overseeing a team of 16 shopfloor staff, the successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will oversee the execution from order through to finished product. Based in the Coventry area, this company is a specialist manufacturer of Fibreglass Modular products.
Key Responsibilities
- Production: Full accountability for daily and weekly output. Deliver products on time, in full, right first time. Run daily and weekly production meetings. Monitor and improve Quality processes. Resolve issues proactively.
- People Management: Lead, motivate and manage factory team (15). Develop team leaders and multi-skilled workforce. Manage attendance, holidays and performance.
- Planning: Create and manage production schedules. Balance workload across all product lines. Align production with sales demand and deadlines.
