Assistant Director to ER in Birmingham

Do you have previous Senior HR experience and a CIPD Level 7 qualification, or working towards one?
Please Note: The role will be office based, in Longbridge (1 day working from home), working 37.5 hours per week. You will also need a driving license and your own vehicle as you will be travelling to the local campuses.
This role may also suit someone who has previously worked as a HR/ER Manager, or Head of HR and looking to take the next step.

As an experienced Assistant Director of ER your duties will involve:
You will be responsible for Managing a team of ER Advisors and Administrators.
Developing and implementing employee relations strategies.
Acting as primary contact for grievances and complaints, conducting a variety of investigations.
You will line manage a team of Employee Relations Advisors and People Service Administrators, whilst conducting regular case review meetings.
Attending regular meetings with the head of facilities and divisions to update on cases.
Supporting managers on employee relations matters, whilst also managing your own small caseload.
Reviewing employee relations processes and procedures.
Reviewing occupational health revisions and supporting on HR audits and various HR projects.
Making any necessary changes that need to be made and improving existing processes.
