Salary: £30,500 per annum
We are looking for a Trainee Setter to join our ever-growing team. Experience in extrusion equipment would be advantageous but not essential. However, candidates will ideally have some experience in working with machinery in a factory setting.
The role will be working as part of our experienced team, doing your part to maintain our high-quality standards and low scrap levels. The successful candidate must be a pro-active individual, willing to learn new skills at pace. Once full training is given you will be responsible for setting and running extrusion lines, maintaining quality through continuous QC.
Candidate must have good communication skills, a keen eye for detail, the ability to work off own initiative, and be a strong team player. You will learn basic terminologies, tooling and machinery setting processes, material processes, and paperwork/QC training.
Uniform will be provided by the company, as well as a new toolbox and new tools.
