We are currently looking to recruit an Extrusion Setter to join our manufacturing team at our site in Hyde. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, running, and monitoring a PVC extrusion line used to produce bespoke products. This is a hands-on position that requires implementing production schedules while maintaining agreed quality and output levels.
Key tasks include:
- Carrying out dimensional checks to tight tolerances
- Recording quality data
- Conducting visual inspections
- Adjusting machine parameters when needed
- Undertaking occasional die cleaning and tooling changes
Applicants should have a proven background in a similar position with 3β5 years of PVC extrusion processing experience, including strong fault-finding and rectification skills. You must be reliable, proactive, and capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A three-month probation period applies to this role.
