Location: Hinckley

Salary: From 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break). Additional hours may be required to meet operational needs.

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and growing waste management business based in Hinckley. This is a hands-on management role responsible for the day-to-day operation of a busy waste processing site. You will oversee site operations, transport planning, staffing, compliance, health and safety, and financial performance while leading and developing a dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operational performance of the site.
  • Ensure full compliance with site permits and environmental legislation.
  • Oversee transport planning, customer bookings and site logistics.
  • Take responsibility for site profitability, including purchasing, waste disposal costs and infrastructure expenditure.
  • Optimise site processes to maximise efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure materials remain within permit limits.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety.
