An opportunity has arisen for a Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics and fleet operations team. This hands-on role is central to ensuring the safe and efficient movement, loading, and preparation of vehicles within a fast-paced operational depot environment.
You will play a key part in keeping fleet operations running smoothly, working closely with the logistics team to ensure vehicles are correctly positioned, loaded, and prepared for daily service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely bring fleet vehicles in for tipping during shift operations
- Reload vehicles with supply stock as required
- Carry out internal vehicle movements across the depot
- Complete occasional outbound journeys to Stoke Depot
- Support inter-depot fleet transfers and logistics requirements
- Liaise with vehicle hire and maintenance providers attending site
Stock & Documentation Control:
- Complete stock movement forms accurately for the Logistics Team Leader
- Ensure correct recording and tracking of vehicle loads
- Maintain accurate records relating to vehicle positioning and movements
- Support effective key management and vehicle security procedures
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety procedures and site rules
- Maintain a strong safety-first approach at all times
- Follow correct ADR and hazardous materials handling procedures
- Support a compliant and well-organised depot environment
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid ADR licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Counterbalance forklift truck (FLT) licence
- Experience within the hazardous waste or regulated logistics sector
