What you will do:
- Perform TIG (141) welding on aluminium fabrications ranging from 1.5mm – 30mm
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct visual inspection of welds to BS EN ISO 17673:2022 standards
- Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Continue internal and external training to maintain qualification to BS EN ISO 9606
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium
- Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or similar industries
- Previous coding to ISO 9606-1/2
- NVQ/City & Guilds in welding, fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject
