The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

We are seeking an additional team member to join our busy Irish operations team, based in Redditch, bringing strong customs knowledge and experience. This role will provide oversight and support within the department and will operate at a senior level.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Current hours: 11:30am – 8:00pm
  • 1-hour lunch break

Paying up to £38,000.

You will be working within a fast-paced department, supporting road freight export operations and customs compliance.

Main Duties:

  • Manage and complete daily road freight export files and liaise with agents.
  • Ensure files are accurately costed, invoiced, and maintained.
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested by the line manager.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming customs legislation and communicate potential impacts to internal teams and customers.
  • Review customs documentation during customer onboarding and provide support where required.
  • Ensure understanding of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures in line with customer requirements.
  • Support the team in applying correct customs procedures and assist with the rollout of any procedural changes.
  • Liaise with agents and suppliers as required.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of exports into Southern Ireland.
  • Strong knowledge of TSS entries, IMMI’s, and full declarations for Northern Ireland.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive approach.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customs qualifications required:
  • Level 2 Customs Practice & Procedure Award
  • Level 3 Certificate in Customs Compliance
  • Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Customs Compliance
  • or equivalent
  • Excel knowledge required.
