Location: Bromsgrove

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 40hr week - Monday to Thursday 7.55am to 4.30pm and Friday 7.55am to 4pm

Temporary role with the potential to go permanent.

You will be responsible for assembling and soldering components to support the manufacturing process, ensuring the precise assembling, testing, repair of electronic and mechanical parts and products while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Use hand tools, power tools and soldering equipment to assemble or repair parts and products.
  • Read and interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to efficiently assemble products according to specifications.
  • Inspect and test completed assemblies for quality, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Identify defective or non-conforming parts and follow established procedures for handling and reporting issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace, following workplace housekeeping standards.
  • Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues using logical and problem-solving skills.
  • Follow production schedules and meet efficiency targets without compromising quality.

Assembler Requirements:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift at least 15-20 Kg.
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to differentiate between colours.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Production assembly experience.
  • Soldering (basic).
