We are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver in the Bootle area.

Main duties of the role:

  • Ensuring full compliance with all current regulations concerning the transportation of hazardous waste materials.
  • Delivery / Collection of waste materials to/from various locations around the UK.
  • Some manual work will be required and occasional yard work.
  • Hours of work will be as and when required in order to complete your duties in accordance with the legal requirements for an HGV driver with a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • Full compliance with high standards of health and safety regulations including PPE at all times.
  • Complete all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Ensuring the daily walkaround safety inspection is completed, the results recorded and any defects reported to the Site Manager.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in any vehicle used, taking care of all equipment given.
