Our Nottingham based client is a well-established and growing precision engineering company who manufacture high-quality precision components for a wide range of industries and pride themselves on quality, reliability and investment in their people and equipment.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled manufacturing team.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC turning machines to manufacture precision-engineered components to exact specifications.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will ensure all work meets the highest quality standards while maintaining efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Set, operate and programme CNC turning machines.

Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Select the correct tooling and machine settings for each job.

Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections using measuring equipment.

Maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail.

Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.

Carry out routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organised.

Previous experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment.

Experience programming CNC turning machines.
