You will be working for a Global company who has been established for over 25 years. Please note: they will be re-locating to Redditch in August so you will need to be able to travel to Redditch. This may be a temporary to permanent position, but my client will also consider taking someone on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid role, where you will be office based from Monday-Wednesday and then working from home.
Hours of work: Monday-Wednesday 9-5:30am, Thursday 8:30am - 4:30am and a 3pm finish on a Friday - 37.5 hours per week.
My client is looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to manage sourcing, production, and logistics activities between our suppliers in China and Poland and our UK customers and sales teams. In this role, you will coordinate purchase orders, track production schedules and manage supplier relationships. Ensure products are delivered on time and in line with customer demand. Acting as a key link between sourcing, operations, logistics, and sales. You'll help maintain efficient supply chain processes, support inventory planning and resolve delivery challenges. Also ensuring a high level of service across both made-to-order and off-the-shelf product ranges.
You will be working in a small team so a part of your role will also involve supporting other departments where needed so you will need to be a flexible team player.
Skills/experience needed: You will need to have advanced working knowledge of Excel, and some purchasing experience with previous experience of working with China. You will need to be used to working in a fast-paced environment and flexible with supporting other departments when required.
