We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various locations. This role requires experience in flatbed driving, as well as a thorough understanding of commercial driving regulations. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our services.
Working Hours: 5 Days only – No weekend working. 7am to 4pm. (Needs to be flexible due to traffic congestion)
Duties:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
Qualifications:
- Driver must be over the age of 25+ for company insurance.
- Clean Driving Licence.
