We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Christmas Assistant to join our team and help bring the magic of Christmas to Longacres! If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and are always happy to lend a helping hand, this could be the perfect opportunity to become part of our busy and exciting Christmas team.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same, with the opportunity to work across different departments throughout the Christmas period. From helping customers choose their perfect Christmas tree to keeping displays looking their best, replenishing stock and supporting our shop floor teams, you’ll play an important part in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year

Contract: Part‑time - Temporary Christmas Contract (01/11/2026 – 20/12/2026)
Includes: Weekday and weekend working
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure displays are maintained to a high standard
Unpack and price stock
Organise stock in preparation for replenishment
Till operation
Netting of real Christmas Trees
Help and assist customers selecting their Christmas tree
You will look smart and presentable with excellent verbal and written communication;
Assisting various departments throughout the Christmas period.od.
Key Skills and Competencies
You are enthusiastic and approachable
Physically fit
You are willing to develop and learn
Previous experience working in a fast‑paced retail environment
