Following the acquisition of Scorpion RIBs and Network Yacht Brokers Dartmouth, we're continuing to expand our presence across the South West and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Yacht Broker to join our growing team.

Operating from our Dartmouth and Salcombe locations, you'll play a key role in representing a premium portfolio of brands including

Twisted Scorpion, Northstar RIBs, Pioner Boats and a wide range of brokerage vessels.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for boating, strong commercial awareness and a desire to build long-term relationships with customers.

You'll be joining a close-knit, ambitious team where no two days are the same, working with everything from first-time buyers through to high-net-worth clients looking for their next investment.

The Role

As Yacht Broker, you'll be responsible for managing the full sales journey from initial enquiry through to completion.

You'll build relationships with new and existing customers, source new brokerage opportunities and provide expert advice to help clients find the right vessel for their needs.

You will also represent Twisted Marine at local marinas, events and boat shows, helping to continue the growth of one of the UK's most exciting marine businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sale and purchase of brokerage and new boats from enquiry through to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors and industry contacts.
  • Generate new business opportunities and actively grow the brokerage portfolio.
  • Conduct vessel viewings, valuations and sea trials where required.
  • Represent the business professionally at boat shows, marina events and customer demonstrations.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout every stage of the buying and selling process.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the wider Twisted Marine business to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Travel between our Dartmouth and Salcombe sites, along with local marinas when required.
  • Key Skills and Competencies

We're looking for someone who is passionate about the marine industry and enjoys building lasting relationships with customers.

About You

  • Previous experience in yacht brokerage, boat sales or the leisure marine industry.
  • A strong understanding of leisure boats and marine products.
  • Experience operating boats and confidence on the water.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Experience dealing with high-value sales and high-net-worth customers would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence.
