Longacres is looking for an enthusiastic person with a positive, can-do attitude to work in the fast-paced, high turnover Seasonal department. Our Seasonal Department is a large department stocking a wide array of different products from BBQs to Garden Furniture.
The successful candidate will have merchandising and retail experience preferably from a Garden Centre background, be a good communicator with a focus on customer service and can work as part of a team and on their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:- Assist with sales of Garden Furniture, BBQs and other seasonal products.
- Work the weekly deliveries, making sure all shop floor products are priced and correctly merchandised.
- Help customers with any enquiries they may have in store and over the phone.
- Help with seasonal moves around the store.
- During busy periods help in other departments may be required.
- Experience working within retail sales, with a passion for selling.
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise is essential.
