We are currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Operative to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with your colleagues to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and on time, contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Department: Warehouse/Goods Received
Contract: Monday to Friday with a rota’d day off and alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Receiving and processing all deliveries and report any discrepancies.
- Stowing and storing all deliveries safely and optimising the available storage space.
- Picking orders for deliveries and store transfers.
- Performing Warehouse Inventory controls where required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate with and support all Trading departments.
- Safely operate and maintain all warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Stock replenishment of Compost, Salt and Fuels.
- To assist in other areas of the Garden Centre as required.
Key Skills and Competencies
- You are enthusiastic and approachable.
- You are willing to develop and learn.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
