Our Toys department is a fun and interactive role stocking a wide range of toys from books and board games to Lego sets.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage our Toys team – this will include the administration of rotas, holidays, and absence cover to ensure the department is sufficiently manned at all times.
- Ensure the department delivers an excellent customer experience.
- Work with the buyer to assist with seasonal changes and product planning.
- Oversee staff within the department and provide guidance as needed.
- Merchandise products on the sales floor to a high standard, ensuring that all the products are clearly and correctly priced and displayed safely.
- Serve customers and deal with enquiries.
- Update the team with information such as promotions, new lines, deliveries, and shop floor changes.
- Implement new ideas to promote products and increase sales.
- Perform probation reviews, return to work interviews, and performance conversations.

- Previous management experience within a similar role.
