We are looking for an enthusiastic Manager to join our Seasonal Team. If you enjoy engaging with the public, showcasing new products, and leading a team, this could be the perfect role for you. Our Seasonal Department is a large and dynamic space, offering a wide range of products from BBQs to garden furniture, as well as seasonal items such as Christmas decorations. You will be expected to work with your team to provide the best possible customer service to our customers and uphold strict retail standards.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage our Seasonal Team - this will include the administration of rotas, holidays and absence cover to ensure the department is sufficiently manned at all times.
- Ensuring the department delivers an excellent customer experience for both instore and online customers.
- Collaborating with the buyer to assist with seasonal changes and product planning.
- Motivating and organising the team throughout the annual product changes.
- Merchandising products on the sales floor to a high standard, ensuring that all the products are clearly and correctly priced and displayed safely.
- Serving customers and dealing with enquiries and orders.
- Updating the team with information such as promotions, new lines, deliveries and shop floor changes.
- Implementing new ideas to promote products and increase sales.
- Communicating with other departments to organise efficient stock storage, transfer and replenishment.
- Constructively and efficiently planning and managing seasonal changes throughout the garden centre, including creating inspirational displays.
