We are looking for a new Online Supervisor to support the Online Manager in overseeing the end-to-end online fulfilment and internet warehouse operations.

As the Online Supervisor you will lead and support the team in daily operations, maintaining stock control and system accuracy. Longacres Garden Centre aims to be the destination of choice for garden enthusiasts, offering exceptional service and high-quality products at competitive prices.

Department: Online Warehouse
Contract: Full time
Includes: Monday to Friday with a rota’d day off each week and alternate weekends
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise daily online and warehouse operations, including picking, packing, booking-in, stock movements, and dispatch
  • Work closely with customer service teams to resolve any customer queries or order issues promptly
  • Monitor inbound deliveries, ensuring discrepancies are investigated and resolved
  • Maintain accurate stock control across inventory systems
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept in a state to promote efficient daily operations
  • Safely operate warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Supervise and support assistants, motivating and coaching team members to perform well consistently
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Management of online product listings, stock availability, and different online marketplace platforms

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • 2-3 years prior experience within a warehouse/order fulfilment role
