Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Hours: 38.5 hours per week; Monday - Thursday: 0830 - 17:00; Friday: 0830 - 1530. Training will be completed in the hours and days noted above. After completion of training, you will have the choice to stay on dayshift, or move to a twilight shift. Twilight Hours: 38 hours per week; Monday - Thursday: 13:00 - 23:00; Friday: non-working day.

We are seeking hard-working and motivated individuals to join our dynamic Surface Mount team at CIL. The position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent teamwork and the ability to handle various tools and equipment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of electronic components using modern Surface Mount Technology, contributing to the overall production process within our manufacturing environment. Whilst Surface Mount experience is very beneficial, we are keen to hear from people who have transferable machine operating or production experience within Electronics Manufacturing or similar.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team & follow instructions
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Previous use of hand tools, microscopes or machinery would be advantageous
  • Experience working in Electronics or an industry qualification is beneficial
