Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and manage a team, set clear goals and objectives, and develop a strategy to achieve them. Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
  • Act as a bridge between team members and upper management, ensuring that important information is communicated effectively. Provide regular feedback and support to team members, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance individual and team effectiveness. Analyse performance metrics and create strategies for improvement.
  • Address and resolve conflicts within the team, helping to maintain a harmonious work environment. Remove barriers that hinder team performance and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Tracking production performance against schedules, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide on-the-job training and educational opportunities to help team members build their skills and improve their performance. Encourage professional development and growth within the team.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to minimize storage costs and prevent shortages.
  • Preparing production reports, analysing performance data, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Addressing and resolving any production-related problems that may arise, such as PPM or material shortages.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and with other departments or stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and project success.
