We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team here at Longacres to work in the Food Hall. You will be responsible for replenishing stock and helping customers with any queries they may have while shopping with us! Being approachable is a must and previous experience in food related retail is a bonus, but not a strict requirement for this position.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Includes: Monday to Friday with a rota’d day off in the week and alternate weekends
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Replenishment and merchandising of stock
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- General housekeeping of the department and ensuring our retail standards are met
- Adhering to legal requirements - stock rotation, date checking, and temperature monitoring
- Ensuring that all the products are correctly priced, clearly marked and displayed safely
- Assisting in other parts of the business as required
Key Skills and Competencies
- You are enthusiastic and approachable
- Excellent customer service skills, being on hand to help customers and deal with any enquiries
- You are willing to develop and learn
- Previous experience within food retail
- A food safety qualification is preferred but not a strict requirement
