Salary: £55 - £60k DOE

The Head of HR Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery quality of this prestigious service of the 360 Service and Complete HR Service. This role ensures that day-to-day HR administration, experienced employee relations advice, documentation production, on-boarding/off-boarding processes, reporting, and optional service enhancements are delivered efficiently and consistently to clients.

The Head of HR Services will supervise the HR Administrators, ensuring high standards of service, prioritisation, workload coordination, and adherence to compliance requirements. The Head of HR Services will support their daily work, allocate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure service timelines are met.

The role requires excellent coordination, attention to detail, client service focus, and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Oversight and Coordination
    • Oversee delivery of the 360 HR and Complete HR services, ensuring all service components are completed accurately and on time.
    • Act as the primary coordination point for service-related queries.
    • Ensure consistent and compliant processes across all clients receiving the service.
    • Work closely with HR Consultants, HR Advisors and Managing Directors to maintain high service standards.
  • HR Information System Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day running of client HR Systems, ensuring the HR Administrators are completing actions accurately and ensuring that data within the HR Systems is up to date.
    • Monitor data accuracy and compliance across all systems.
    • Support on-boarding/off-boarding processes, ensuring the HR Administrators follow correct procedures.
  • Documentation and Workflow Management
    • Ensure the team produces and issues all required employment documentation, in line with Client requirements.
    • Coordinate the use of the virtual signing platform and ensure correct filing on HR Systems and Sharepoint.
    • Create process flows for clients that accurately reflect their internal procedures.
    • Create and continually update internal how to guides for the internal HR team.
  • Reporting and Dashboards
    • Oversee monthly dashboard, data, production for clients.
    • Ensure accuracy, timely issue, and clarity of reports.
    • Provide regular reports to the Managing Directors on client feedback, changes to services, proposed changes to workflows and HR Administrator performance.
  • Supervision of HR Administrators
    • Allocate tasks and manage the HR Administrators daily and weekly workflows.
    • Provide guidance, support and quality-checking.
    • Ensure consistent delivery across the team.
    • Act as a first point of contact for problem solving and escalations.
    • Provide feedback to the Managing Directors on HR Administrator performance and occasionally take part in one-to-one meetings and appraisals.
    • Identify external training for team members and making recommendations to the Managing Director.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline client and internal processes and improve efficiency.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice HR administration and compliance.
    • Support service development and enhancements.
    • Ensure the structure of the 360 HR and Complete HR team meets the needs of the business and clients and liaise with the Managing Directors on the team structure.
    • Consider use of additional technology to improve processes.
  • HR Service Delivery
    • Supporting 360 HR and Complete HR clients with ER queries.
    • To attend client sites to support with areas such as employee matters, general HR needs, management/board meetings, in addition to key client onsite support/projects.
    • Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations over phone and email.
    • Chair or support formal HR processes such as disciplinary/ grievance/ investigation meetings for clients.
    • Deliver HR training and update client policies and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company governance.
  • Client Relations
    • Conduct regular client review meetings and identify new business opportunities.
    • Support new client onboarding.
    • In liaison with the Managing Director (clients), attend client sites to carry out review meetings on service delivery.

  • Strong experience in HR Coordination, HR Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, and HR best practice.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems and HR Administrative processes.
  • Ability to supervise and support junior team members.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written communication and document production skills.
  • Strong client service orientation.
