We are seeking an organised and ambitious
Events Executive to join our Events team and help deliver a high profile programme of conferences, lectures, networking events and client events.
This is an excellent opportunity for an events professional to develop their career within a prestigious membership organisation at the heart of the global aerospace community.
The Role
Working as part of a busy events team, you will support the planning, promotion and delivery of a varied portfolio of events that provide value to members, industry partners and stakeholders while contributing to the Society's commercial objectives.
You will coordinate event logistics, manage delegate communications, support speakers and sponsors, assist with event marketing campaigns and help ensure an exceptional experience for all attendees.
- Key Objectives
- Event Management & Delivery
- Manage event enquiries, registrations and bookings, including speaker and VIP arrangements.
- Prepare delegate communications and joining instructions.
- Coordinate event materials including programmes, speaker documentation, presentation decks, QR codes and holding slides.
- Support the delivery of conferences, lectures and client events from planning through to execution.
- Edit and distribute event recordings to attendees and wider audiences.
- Create and analyse event feedback surveys to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure event risk assessments are completed and managed appropriately.
- Liaise with suppliers, venues, partners and clients to deliver successful events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for designated events and project manage their delivery.
- Marketing & Audience Development
- Develop promotional content in collaboration with the Communications team.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Dotdigital.
- Support social media promotion of events.
- Research and engage industry partners, supporters and networks to maximise event reach.
- Coordinate sponsorship deliverables and work with the Society's sponsorship sales agency.
- Identify and nurture prospective delegates to drive attendance and commercial success.
- General Responsibilities
- Represent the Society professionally at all times.
- Provide wider support to the Events team as required.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Adhere to Society policies, procedures and standards.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties required by the line manager or senior leadership team.

- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how events contribute to organisational objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital event tools.
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening events as required.
Desirable
- Experience using event management platforms and marketing systems such as Dotdigital.
- Experience working within a membership organisation or professional body.
- Knowledge of the aerospace, aviation or space sectors.
- Experience managing sponsorship delivery and stakeholder relationships.
